Looking back at ‘memories’ on my facebook page, it seems that, 3 years ago this weekend, we had a wonderful weekend in the Lake District, some good walks in a snowy landscape and good food at The Black Bull, Coniston. 

Sadly, no opportunity for a similar trip in the near future but I am enjoying looking through a pack of walk cards that I was given at Christmas. There are several walks that are within easy reach of Lynwood Cottage so those will be explored when we can eventually visit again. The two packs have joined the pile of things to take to Lynwood next time we go and will stay in the cottage for visitors to borrow.
