Please note these times are according to Google maps so maybe add a bit more for a realistic time - I don’t think Googe maps take account of narrow, windy Lake District roads!

Kendal - 22 minutes - busy market town, climbing wall, castle ruins (free)
Keswick - 55 minutes
Cartmel - 14 minutes - Priory, Segway, Cartmel Village shop - the home of Sticky Toffee Pudding
Grange-Over-Sands - 15 minutes - views across Morecambe Bay, crazy golf, putting and tennis court plus a great secondhand book shop Daisy Roots Books
Wasdale Head - 1 hour 15 minutes - the popular walking route to Scafell Pike starts from here.
